Captain Toby Hatton
Toby has over twenty years’ experience traveling the world’s oceans. Toby’s love of the water started at a very young age racing classic Windermere class keel boats and while working as a white-water kayaking instructor on the English lakes where he grew-up.
This lobe of water has led to him captaining a wide variety of vessels, from tall ships, gaff riggers, carbon super sailing yachts, catamarans and world class motor yachts. These vessels have taken him all over the world to some very special places, often well off the beaten track, be it squeezing though the stacks of St Kilda in the Outer Hebrides or navigating the jungle up the Rio Dulce
While not on the high seas Toby likes to spend time at home with his wife and son in the Highlands of Scotland, where he enjoys hill walking, bike-packing, building musical instruments and traveling in his 9-ton overland camping truck that he built.
